Christmas Presents...?

Q: This morning, I was all excited to open presents because I saw a lot of presents under the tree and usually, my parents and i hang out all morning and have fun. So I ran to the living room where my parents were and saw they were waiting for me. I said: "So which ones mine?" and they pointed out a box. I opened it, and it was a sweater set. I wouldn't be ungrateful if i knew we didnt have money, but I know we do, and I would be grateful they even got me something if this hadn't happened: I realized all the presents under the tree were for my parents - from each other. They spent all morning laughing with each other and playing with their gifts, totally excluding me. Then, I went to my room and I heard my parents talking. It turns out they forgot about getting me anything, and the sweater was what my Aunt sent me! They didn't care at all that they forgot to get me something, they only cared if the coffee maker and back massager were really Italian. The point of this isnt that I only got one gift - its that my parents totally forgot about me and didn't care!!! What do you think is wrong?!

A: Go into the room, ask for your Aunt's number, and say: "I want my aunts number to thank her for her wonderful gift." Then, call her and thank her. :)) Talk with your parents, if you can't, just leave it they'll have to learn on there own. I'm so sorry about what happened, but don't let it crush your Christmas spirit. I know a girl whose parents left on a cruise on Christmas and left her home. :( Merry xmas! that's pretty tough....but first thank your Aunt, because at least she remember you, and bought you something. Second, just don't talk to your parents for an amount of days. If they ask what's wrong, then tell them. If that happen to me, I would run away. Just remember though, Christmas is not about the presents, it's about Jesus being born... Wow, that is messed up! I can't imagine how much that hurt. Your parents could have at least given you some money for after the holiday.
