Coffee (Not Espresso!) Drink Recipes That Do Not Contain Alcohol.
Q: Coffee (not Espresso!) drink recipes that do not contain alcohol. I don't have an Espresso maker, so that is out, but what can I add to my Joe(hot or cold) to change it up?
A: Cold coffee mixed with milk, half-and-half, and chocolate liqueur. Serve over ice. 1 1/2 quarts brewed coffee, room temperature 1 cup milk 1 cup half-and-half cream 1/3 cup white sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 tablespoons creme de cacao In a pitcher, combine cooled coffee, milk and half-and-half. Stir in sugar, vanilla and creme de cacao. Chill in refrigerator until ready to serve. If you are using brewed coffee, brew it stronger, about twice what you would normally use and add milk to it to make a 'Psuedo-Latte' or 'Psuedo-Cappuccino'.. They usually work, but won't fool anyone. They do work better for iced coffee recipes.
