How Does Drinking Espresso Drinks Differ From House Coffee Health Wise?

Q: I often go out for coffee, and am wondering how drinking Espresso compares with regular coffee. Personally, I prefer Espresso, and rarely drink regular coffee.

A: A one ounce shot of Espresso contains approximately the same amount of caffiene as a 8-10 ounce cup of drip coffee. The nutritional make-up of the two drinks is virtually the same. (This is of course assuming that you do not add cream, sugar, flavored syrups, whipped cream, "frappuccino mix" or any other such nonsense either). I've heard a serving of Espresso actually has a lower caffeine content than a cup of regular coffee. Of course, that's not ounce-for-ounce. Espresso coffee is done when steam mixes and due to this, the coffee tastes lovely as the mix is vigorous. A regular cup of coffee will give you a lift. Drink a cup of Espresso and you can thread a sewing machine while it is running. Espresso is stronger than regular coffee, especially North American coffee. It tastes like water. You have taste and class. That's why you drink Espresso.
