How Do I Make An EXCELLENT Iced Coffee?

Q: I have a stove top Espresso coffee maker and I make an excellent short black with the finest free trade organic coffee. I want to use this coffee for an excellent iced coffee. Any suggestions? Appreciated.

A: I think I make really good iced coffee. First, you have to brew the coffee so it's double the normal strength (twice the amount of coffee beans for the same amount of water), that way when you add ice to the coffee, it wont be watered down. I add half and half or cream then. And I'll usually add sugar and chocolate syrup to add flavor, or you can add caramel syrup, whatever sounds good to you. You can either blend it all together in a blender(which I do), or mix the sugar, cream, and syrup in the coffee before adding the ice so it mixes together better.
