How Many People Actually Get Triple Espresso At Coffee Shop?

Q: You get very little coffee for a big price. Does it really have 3 times caffeine in it? Can it really wake you up? Do you drink it little by little, or drink it down like a shot?

A: One time, a customer got 8 shots in his 'Venti (20 oz) White Mocha'. It's supposed to come with two shots. I told him that we're not responsible for any heart damage from the caffeine. Sometimes, if I'm really tired and I need to wake up, I'll get a 'Triple Grande Peppermint White Mocha'. That's just one added shot, and I drink it fairly slowly. I hope that answered your question. It depends on the person as to how much of an affect caffeine has on them. I certainly don't get that many shots in mine, but I have met, and heard of, people getting MORE than triple Espresso. I'm talking like, 4 or 5 shots of it in their Latte! Too much if you ask me but, whatever. 2 shots of Espresso (2 oz) has approx. the same amount of caffeine as a 12 oz cup of coffee. I typically have 10 shots of Espresso every day. It sounds like a lot, but when you break it down, it's only 5 cups of coffee. And yes, I do work in a coffee shop!

Espresso has less cafeine than regular drip coffee. Look it up. You should know this, working in a coffee shop and all.
