Making Espresso Coffee?
Q: We've got one of the makers that goes on the stove, but what heat is it best to use? The instructions don't say. Is it best on a low heat, or is hot better?
A: Its best to put it on the low setting and wait a while for it to drip through. Go on then, it is your turn and nobody makes it like you do. I have a camp fire version which you have to fill the bottom with water, put the filled filter in then and screw the top on over that. Mine has to be heated up rapidly so the water is pressured through the grounds up into the top part. It takes less than a minute if you have one like that for your stove. Mine works there too. I have to get the coils on the stove red hot before I even set it on there, and if it takes too long, it tastes burnt.
