Arabica coffee plant is also known by the name of mountain coffee. These berries are ready to be picked when they become dark red, measuring 1 cm long.

Depending on the climate and the type of the plant, the trees are very difficult to cultivate. They can produce a total amount of dried coffee beans ranging between 0, 5 and 5 kilograms. Each berry contains tow compartments which hold the beans. One fruit contains tow seeds that represent the coffee bean. Sometimes one fruit can have 3 beans or just one. They grow at the tips of the tree's branches. There are some regions with perfect temperatures where these trees can be harvest all year, like the Java islands.
