The controls are very simple. Many convenience stores in the United States use this machine for their self serve coffee and this particular use makes it imperative for the operation to be simple. The start and stop buttons are separated to prevent accidental reverse action. The lid is bi-fold making access to the bean hopper much easier and the bag switch is positive action, again to prevent misuse. There is even a stainless steel tidy tray set into a pull out drawer and the front panel is stainless steel for easy cleaning and an attractive appearance.
This machine usually comes in red and its power under the hood shows its fire. Driven by a big 1/2 horse motor this thing really hums and you will never have those annoying caught bean problems most machines suffer from. The bag height goes from a minimum of 8-1/4" to a maximum of 10". The whole machine is not a light weight coming in at nearly 55 lbs it is a handful. It is large too at 27"Hx7"W x15"D so you will have to make a lot of room if your planning to put it on a countertop.
Finally, the warranty is exceptional. A full four years on the burrs or 30,000 lbs of beans, whichever is first and all of the other components are 2 years, parts and one year labor. All in all a great grinder for coffee lovers everywhere.
