Black Tea Caffiene
‘Theine’ was first revealed in the late 1820s; it was declared to have effects similar to those experienced by coffee takers. With the passage of time, theine was an equivalent of the caffeine found in coffee and so it adapted the name caffeine.
If a person consumes black tea caffeine, they experience rest from exhaustion. Black tea caffeine is a stimulant that increases reaction rate, attentiveness and a person’s focus.
Caffeine obtained from the consumption of tea has an effect on their physical body. Caffeine has been proven to stimulate the functioning of various body systems, the digestion and metabolic rate are good examples. This can result in the elimination of any harmful toxins from the body. Your mind becomes more alert and your reaction to stimuli is also faster. It increases the efficiency of reaction rate. After taking black tea, muscle action gets better and body functions stimulated thus resulting in an increased intake of oxygen by the body.
Recent studies have been conducted to establish the effect of caffeine on the brain’s ability to perform. These studies have confirmed that intake of black tea leads to improved brain control performance. Every time a person consumes a cup of coffee they have a less chance of getting some diseases like heart diseases. This fact is yet to be confirmed by all involved in the study but so far the results look promising. There is also a negative side of caffeine consumption, if black tea is taken in huge amounts it can lead to lack of sleep, palpitations of the heart and complicated breathing.
The amount of caffeine found in black tea ca not be equated with the amount of caffeine consumed in a similar cup of coffee. Coffee has a higher percentage of caffeine in comparison to black tea. The content levels differ by up to fifty percent. With this in mind, every time you consume a cup of coffee you consume more caffeine than you would have if you took black tea. Despite this information, scientists cannot explain why coffee has significantly lower caffeine levels when it is in its dry state; this changes upon preparation of the beverage.
Most people associate this huge difference with the production process. The area tea growing takes place is also put into consideration. Tea is packaged in particles that differ in size, harvesting is different and the brewing process is also very different for both beverages. Studies have proved that the caffeine content in a particular tea lea is largely dependent on the location of the leaf on the tea bush. Leaves o the lower parts of the bush contain more caffeine than those on the top. As a tea leaf grows older its concentration levels go up.
