Green tea is a kind of tea which is better than any other normal tea; it has many more benefits than any other tea in comparison. There are 3 types of ginsengs and they are; Panax ginseng- this ginseng is also called the Korean or the Chinese ginseng, it is grown in china, Japan and Korea. It promotes yang energy according to Chinese traditional medicines. There are two types of panax ginsengs; white panax ginseng and red panax ginseng. The white one is grown for 4 to 6 years and is called white because it is peeled before it is sun dried. The red panax ginseng is grown for more than 6 years and called red because it is steamed before drying it in the sun, in the red panax ginseng there are more beneficial compounds found because it is grown for longer than the white one and steamed with without peeling. The second type of ginseng is the Panax Quinquefolius. It is commonly called the American ginseng. It is grown in America, Canada, and Colombia and recently in China too. It promotes ying energy and calms the body completely. The soothing properties make it popular amongst the Chinese also. The last ginseng is the Eleutherococcus Senticosus.
Commonly known as Siberian ginseng, is grown in Russia. It belongs to a different family and genus so it's not quite a true ginseng. Never the less it has some health benefits. Siberian ginseng is cheaper than the other ginsengs. If you want your tea to be healthy not just the ginseng but also the tea leaves have to be fresh and of good quality.
