However, if you are steeping black tea, then it will require boiling water. Furthermore, your water quality is also an essential when you are considering on how to steep tea. Since it will also affect the taste of the tea you brewed depending on the natural taste from the water itself. Therefore, it will be wise to use tea that is less in mineral to eliminate or minimize its natural taste and use water without any flavor. Or else, the taste of the water might overpower the tendered taste from the tea brewed. Then what is left will be the taste of the water instead of your tea.
