Hi there!

As we said a month ago, we are in a process of starting online coffee buisness.

We have a few questions about coffee wholesalers.
We've already contacted local coffee wholesalers we would like to get other offers. We are looking for fresh roasted coffee beans:
  • we already find a few wholesale directories but they don't seem to be trustable. Is there any site or directory that we should pay attention to? We would really like to get European wholesaler.
  • what are the most important things to pay attention to, such as: when coffee beans have been roasted, coffee beans origin, price, quality, shipping time?

Thank you very much for your time.

all of this info can be obtained by your supplier. if they can't answer all the above, look elsewhere.

We are located in Slovenia, Europe (it is close to Italy and Austria).

Because we want to avoid taxes, regulations with importing "food" and minimize the shipping time (we'll order already roasted coffee beans), we really want to get European supplier.
- Do you know any marketplace/directory where we could get wholesalers' contacts?
- What are approx. international prices for 1kg of coffeebeans and what are minimum orders usually?

Our plan to find quality coffee is to get let's say 20 samples of coffee beans, try all of them and make a selection of 3? We are not coffee experts so we want to know if this is a solid plan?
Our target market are people who wants to drink better and fresher coffee and who are willing to pay more for whole experience (from ordering online to drinking coffee). Approx. age of 20 to 50...

Any help would be much appriciated!
Best, Miha
