Fully tested and upgraded 2 kg gas Ambex YM-2 coffee roaster for sale, 110v/60hz, currently running on natural gas (propane conversion available), upgrades include improved rear bearing assembly, improved roundness and mechanical integrity of drum, added exhaust air probe with digital display, added chaff collector. All roaster functions verified, including flame safety valve and leak testing.

The roaster is hooked up and available for inspection and test roasting. $6,250 ex works Middleton WI 53562 USA, crating and insured shipping worldwide available but not included. Signed sales agreement required.

Available additional cost upgrades:

1. predisposition for datalogging (adding 2nd bean and if desired 2nd exhaust air probe) $750

2. complete datalogging package include laptop pc, thermocouple datalogging dongle, installed Typica or Artisan datalogging software, $1,950 approx.

Apparently this roaster was sold in 2018. I was interested in it too and looked at the comments on "roast video #8"

I recall seeing a post from another Forum member letting us know that roasterguy passed away at the end of 2018. I noticed that he signed one of his earlier posts with his real name ( Victor Allen Mondry ) and I did a Google search and there is an obituary for him. The obituary mentioned that he was involved with all sorts of things related to coffee.

For that reason, I am going to close this thread.
