    Can Caffeine Cause Erectile Dysfunction?

I drink 5-6 cups a day and now have some erectile dysfinction issue. Because caffeine can act as a vasoconstrictor, a substance that narrows blood vessels, it has been postulated to worsen ED. What do you think?

    Another one:

"The study, which was published in the journal PLOS ONE, found that men who consumed between 85 and 170 milligrams of caffeine a day were 42 percent less likely to suffer from ED, while those who consumed between 171 and 303 milligrams were 39 percent less likely."

    And here https://eddrugs2017.com:

"According to new research from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, men who drink the caffeine equivalent of two to three cups of coffee per day are less likely to have erectile dysfunction.

I'm very skeptical when it comes to studies like these because they sometimes don't define all the behaviors of subjects that might influence ED, such as poor sleep habits, stress, alcohol consumption, etc.. And when all the various things are taken into account, the sample sizes may be too small to draw a significant conclusion. Any behavior, like coffee consumption, that has a positive correlation to ED could be said to cause ED; however, that is a fallacy...correlation does not imply cause. As an example, drowning deaths increase in the summer, and so does ice cream consumption. To infer that eating ice cream increases ones chances of drowning would be clearly illogical. Perhaps coffee consumption increases for those afflicted with ED due to the frustrations of having ED.

Caffeine intake is linked to reduced odds of having Erectile dysfunction (ED) in males who drink the equivalent of 5 to 6 cups of coffee every day. Cutting back Caffeine intake can help also no smoking, no beer/ale, no booze, no drugs etc. ANY of these can interrupt blood flow to your penis resulting in diminished libido & can cause ED or impotence. In case of Erectile Dysfunction you can take alternative like Tadalafil Generic medicine. This medicine can remain effective for up to 36 hours.
