Hi Everybody,

Total newbie here with a possible newbie question (yes, I did a search). I heard from a friend that many of the name brand coffee beans that you can buy, including Starbucks coffee, contain neurotoxins that are harmful to your body. He also said that a more quality coffee product provides you with more energy. Is my friend completely full of it? Is anyone aware of some education resources where I might learn more about this (google provided me with limited results)? What brands should I avoid and where can I purchase a quality, pre-packaged product? Much thanks to anyone that responds.

Remember that old slogan? Food and beverage companies use food additives because they make you crave more of what tastes so good. I don't know about the presence of Neurotoxins in coffee, but then I do agree about the possibilities for it. I am also looking forward to know more about it.
