Hey friends, so far we all see coffee merely as a beverage which we consume everyday. But we may not know that coffee is a multifaceted thing. I'm sharing some strange and practical uses of coffee other than drinking. Hope you'll find them useful.

1. Mix coffee grounds in any regular body lotion to make it exfoliating.

2. Use them in paint to add texture to your walls.

3. Place a small bowl of coffee grounds in the kitchen to absorb the odor of food.

4. Rub coffee beans on hands to get rid of smells from chopping or cutting up pungent foods.

5. Diminish cellulite by using it with massage oil or any body lotion cream.

6. Repel insects by sprinkling coffee grounds anywhere you want to keep bugs out.

7. Brew some coffee, let it cool, and then rinse over wet hair in the shower to make hair glow.

8. Repair furniture scratches by rubbing damp coffee grounds onto the marks.

9. Spread coffee grounds on the dirt, then sweep. This will keep the dust from flying around.

10. Sprinkle coffee grounds in the sole of the shoes to absorb the odor of sweat.

11. Use it as a compost for garden.

12. Keep pets away from your garden by sprinkling coffee grounds with bunch of orange peels.

13. Use coffee grounds can be used as a cleaning abrasive.

14. After giving your dog a bath, rub coffee grounds through the coat of your pet to repel fleas.

15. Use it as a meat tenderizer. Just brew a strong pot of coffee, chill and then marinate meat for up to 24 hours before grilling.

Coffee makes a good wood stain. I prefer to use instant because it's easier to mix a more or less concentrated coffee.

Hey Namballe, Do you own a dog? Which shampoo do you use to ward off the fleas? I used to use Advantix and Comfortis on my dog, Robo, when he was like 1 year old. Fortunately, I have never seen any flea on his body since then. I also don't let him meet and sniff any stray dog, that is why he doesn't catch tics and fleas from them. Anyways, I suggest that you should try that "coffee ground rubbing" trick on your dog someday and see for yourself if that works. You can thank me later. Just kidding! For instructions, read this.

can mix grinds with parifan wax and molasis to make fire briquets. ive played around with different amounts of each and gotten pretty good results.
