I am modifying my previous answer. I no longer add sugar to my coffee, no matter how I drink it. I like the taste of coffee unadulterated. So I've been drinking my espresso straight lately. The only thing I'll add to coffee is milk.

I used to add much sugar (at least 3 spoons) but now I try to add no sugar at all.

To be honest, I really hate coffee with sugar, because this aftertaste is just as effective as possible

I used to drink coffee with milk to reduce the bitterness and make the taste more soft
but that's not good for my belly -___-
Now, I go with smth like 0.5 spoon of sugar for 1 spoon of coffee
