Iced filter coffee (Japanese iced coffee) : ice vs hot water ratio?

It is getting HOT ! in Los Angeles. I heard that it will hit 97 F this Saturday :+(

Perfect time for Iced filter coffee with family.

can someone give me the perfect ice & hot water ratio for this method?
let's say we are making 12 oz iced filter coffee

I have been trying out 40% (ice) to 60% (hot water). is there better ratio?

also after brew, how much of ice cubes (in grams) do I need to put?
    I use 1 : 11 ratio (coffee vs water)

    thanks

Don't do hot water. Room temperature only. Hot water will bring out the acids in the coffee and at that point you might as well brew hot coffee and then put it in the fridge. Always Iced water and slightly below or above room temp- and first bloom (soak until all are wet- but not too wet) the beans in the room temp water- then add your icewater to them mix.
If you use hot water, like I said, the acids will come out and bring the bitterness that is in hot coffee- and not cold brew.

Two weeks ago I drank my first iced coffee from a street coffee machine. I think the milk was cold and not the water. Or I'm I wrong?

you can add cold milk later on, but I am not 100% sure what you are referring to.
