cubano

I have been drinking a beverage that was introduced to me as Cubano (sp?). It is a double espresso with a packet of raw sugar in the extraction basket. The process seems to make a smoother beverage with a nice sweet taste. Can anyone advise if this is the correct name?

first off are you sure they put the sugar in the port-a-filter? I wouldn't advise that....I thought cubano was with condensed milk..I could be wrong

cuban coffee

Cafecito or Cafe' Cubano is the name of the coffee drink you are inquiring about, but where mine had the sugar was added to the cup, not the basket.
I myself like Cortadito. I don't know where you live but Pilon is a good store brand cuban coffee

PILON?

MFOX, I used to prepare PILON coffee on my regular coffee machine. Recently I purchased a GAGGIA CAREZZA and I wonder if I could use this wonderful espresso coffee on this machine. I'll appreciate your advice. Thank you!!! :)
