I am trying to making Café au Lait (French pressed coffee with milk in a 1:1 ratio).

Should I go for:

A) Baratza Encore + Espro Press
B) Baratza Virtuoso + Bodum Chambord

Which choice would you recommend, for my specific purpose of making café au lait?

(Obviously, I'm driven to this tradeoff by my limited budget, otherwise I could have gone Virtuoso + Espro)

Wouldn't option B be more expensive? The Virtuoso is quite a bit more than the Encore.

I've owned both grinders, and while the Virtuoso is a nicer grinder, I don't see the output/grind results to be worth the difference in cost. You'd be better off putting the money toward the Espro press... they are a wonderful press pot, and produce a very clean, full-bodied cup, even tho' they are more of a pain to clean after each use.

Baratza is a wonderful company with the best-ever customer service.
