Those pots with the narrow gooseneck are expensive so I searched for a funnel with a handle and extra small opening on the bottom and I found something called "Sweet Egg Floss Stainless Funnel" on Amazon for $10 + $5 shipping. I think I'll experiment with a regular gooseneck coffee pot and if it doesn't work out I may try the funnel.

Some folks find a good olive oil decanter and use that. Thrift stores often have them.

There's also a technique in which you'd hold a wooden skewer or chopstick on the spout of a kettle with a large spout and let the hot water stream off the skewer. It offers great control, but is somewhat awkward. I took that idea, and found a stainless cotter key, which I clipped onto the large spout, and it was a great improvement.

I saw something like that yesterday - Fox Run Stainless Steel Teapot Drip Clips. I just looked into it more and found some reviews. I think it's worth a try.
