If you have their address, just send them a check for $200, or whatever amount you can swing. I admit, replacing it will be ideal, but I'm guessing that with the few facts you have, it'll be impossible; you have to identify it, and then find it. Identifying it, even if it's very difficult to do so, may be the easy part.

Even if your guess at the brand name rings a bell with a member here, that brand of coffee maker may have dozens of models over the years.

The owners of the broken pot may not be as 'married' to that particular brewer as you think, and my relish the idea of receiving a lump of cash to go find something they'd enjoy even more.

Just thinking out loud...
