Question about "make-your-own" k-cups

I see you can purchase Keurig-compatible empty cups that you can fill with you own coffee (For example Bed Bath & Beyond which sells the machines also sells those cups). Has anybody on this forum actually used them? Do they make good coffee? Is there anything I should know up front before trying this?
