Hi All,
I'm facing an issue where my La cimbali auto shut off after the renovation done.
We lived in malaysia with 3 phase electric supply.
we checked the cables, incoming voltage, machine, mother board, settings as well as the DB supply. all looks normal.
but what we don't understand is that, the machine does not seems to auto shutdown at a particular time, but machine will only shutdown when cool down after high volume of usage.

Anyone faced such issued before?

Regards,
Kevin tai

Most likely your M32 isn't filling the boiler. After about 3 -5 minutes of a slow fill/no fill situation the system will timeout and deenergize the a relay or contactor. At that point you M32 starts its cool down. You should still have power to the machine but you won't have any heat.

Turn off your M32. Now pull the side panels off and take the pipe off the top of the fill valve on the right side of the machine. On the left side remove the level probe wire. Turn the M32 on to #1 position it should turn on but no heat to the element. Now if everything is working fine it should open the fill valve and you should get a hefty stream of water out. If you don't you need to check the other side of the fill valve to see if the flow restrictor and or screen is dirty. If they are fine the valve is probably bad and needs replaced. If you get a lot of water out the top then the next place to check is the boiler inlet.

Follow that pipe to the boiler. Remove the pipe, grab a flashlight (torch) and see if the fitting is clear. In high scale environments that fitting likes to scale over on the tank side. That blockage slows down the water until it finally caps it off and you have a no fill. In your case you may be drawing down the tank faster than the fitting is allowing water to push by the blockage causing your machine to crash.

Recap, check the valve if you have no water at the valve keep working your way back until you find the blockage. Otherwise if you have water at the valve check the fitting on the boiler. Also remember when this is all done and you have fixed your issue to reconnect the fill probe on the left side of the machine!
