    Bottomless extraction help

I recently got a bottomless portafilter, and have consistently gotten a lot of spurting at the beginning, followed by a perfectly clean cone.

There is no visible channeling, when I remove the puck.

What else might I check to find the reason for the spurting?

it's still related to channeling, usually from a distribution problem. If from edges, maybe tamp is not level or tamper does not fit basket properly.

But... it's most likely you need to improve your distribution.
