Suggestions Please: Super automatic espresso machine, thinking about Jura z6 / j6

Currently we have a small nespresso machine in our home we're looking to get a better machine that can do variety of drinks from fresh beans and can also do the frothing (currently we use a separate frother)

One of my friend has Jura Z6 he really likes it, and I tried it at their home it seems like a good machine. I'm also looking at Jura J6, which seems to have most feature that Z6 has but with a slightly smaller footprint and smaller capacity. I'm fine with a lower capacity machine and also don't want it to occupy too much counter space.

I'm open to hear suggestions / opinions / experiences...

    thanks.

Jura is a reputed name in super automatic espresso machines but there are more options to look for. Jura ENA 9, Jura XS90, Saeco PicoBarista are few ones to consider or compare before you finally buy one....Consider having a look at https://www.friedcoffee.com/best-sup...machine-picks/ . This will clear you up with many things and options that are currently the best.

The choice is so huge. I remember how long I bought my first coffee machine, nostalgia. I was recently told about this model KES0504SZ, I was impressed with its characteristics.

For those that want easy push-button convenience/repeatability and end up with something that barely resembles espresso, then a super auto might fill the bill. I'd recommend using that kind of a budget and get a REAL machine/grinder that will last years and be capable of cranking out espresso and textured milk (for those that have to dilute real espresso) that will be light years ahead of the Jura or anything else along those lines.
I'm a legend among my own kind... you my friend are just a legend in your own mind. Later!

I ve had my Z6 for 3 years now, sent it 2 times for repair (first time 6 months after purchase). It died again 2 weeks ago (coffe e simply not coming out).
I just subscribed to this forum to look for alternatives as I am not ready to spend $3500 for a machine that doesn't last 3 years.

This kind of machines have lots of seals in them which are made of rubber. Since rubber won't last forever, just like the gasket on a manual espresso machine, all the seals need to be replaced after sometime in use (usually every couple of years). It's a regular maintenance/refurbishment work. Since this is supposed to be part of the normal operation, it's not considered as repair. Just like when you change tires on your car, you don't consider that as repair. Yes, the cost is high from manufacturers if you can't do it yourself.

Yes, I had a Z6 before I settled with a Z8. I like this series because I make cappuccino/latte most of the time so I like the idea I don't have to move the cup. I also have a Krups EA9010 which is even more automatic (can clean milk related hardware all by itself). But I think the coffee from Jura is probably a little bit better than from Krups.
