espresso vs. latte

This may sound like a stupid question, but will an espresso maker also make lattes or do you need a separate machine? I'm new to all this.

Your espresso machine should have a steam arm and with this you steam milk to make the Latte.

I'll even take that a step further and say the only machine that you need to make "latte" is a cow. Now, a "cafe latte" requires both espresso and steamed milk. :grin:
