I like my coffee strong and just purchased a Hamilton beach model 49970 one cup pod brewer and was dissappointed in the coffee strength. I tried dark and light roast to no avail. Is it just this particular pod machine or are all of them this way. I could use two pods but don't like the extra expense in that. Thanks.

You like rich, full-bodied coffee. You need:
1 - a source of fresh roasted coffee. There will be nothing in the supermarket or Starbucks that fills that need.
2 - a good grinder. Something like the Jura-Capresso or a Baratza (my recommendation like THIS one for $80)
3 - The Espro Press. $75.
For $155 you have the equipment you need to make what will probably be about the best cup of coffee you ave ever had, ASSUMING that you have good coffee beans.
