Problem with DeLonghi Espresso Machine ECO310R

I have a DeLonghi espresso machine ECO310R. The grind on my coffee is perfect and it makes a wonderful creme. However, when I press the middle button to stop the brewing, the flow of liquid doesn't stop. Enough to fill about half a cup comes out in a steady drip-wise fashion, and it's only started doing this in the last two weeks. In addition, if I remove the filter holder, empty the used coffee and replace the filter holder, the water still drips through.

Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated.
