Low Cost Grinder Option

Mr.CheapCoffeeMaker,

Certain Bodum Antigua grinders can be disassembled (this voids any warranty) and offset to grind slightly finer for powder-like espresso. Unplug unit first. Don't let the burrs contact each other!
Drawbacks include noisy, plastic body encourages static cling of coffee particles, and doses only 1/2g per second. Worked for me. Keep a small hand vac nearby to clean dispenser chute, hopper, and counter top.
It's a novice level fix allowing you to save up for a better grinder. Yes - they are pricey.
