I previosly had a hamilton beach brew station which is also a carafe free maker but quit working earlier this week. I bought the new one today and is a little different. On my old maker the reservoir was at the bottom and is pumped up to the top where the grinds are, the coffee tank sits in between, right on top of the dispenser so gravity does the dispensing. the new one the reservoir is at the top like most coffee makers and the tank is at the bottom and the coffee is pumped up a little bit to the dispenser. the first few cups of a full pot come out fine, but after four cups or so (1 of my cups) the pumps is running but no coffee comes out. Checked the lid of the tank as directed in the owners manual but it seems to be on nice and tight. I tried multiple times with coffee and with just water. I already emailed Mr. Coffee with no response as of yet. does anyone have any experience with this kind of coffee maker. any help would be greatly appreciated.
