Peets Coffee Closed All their Mid-West operation. WHY?????

Well, What i heard was they weren't doing well in Mid-West. They were getting their butt kicked by SB and since they were bought by AU company in 2012, they really struggled here in Mid-West. I have ended up helping and opening 4 shop in past 2 years since Caribou coffee and Peets closed their many locations. I still am wondering what the truth is in this. Because some of the locations were doing over million dollars in sales. And i got 2 of those. lol

Corporations look at stores differently than us small operations do. It comes down to the $$$$, you can gross $1m but that does not mean that was profit. Corprate structure is very expensive to run, just the nature of the beast. If I had to guess they were bellow the desired profit margin and some guy in a cubical in the AU said cut cut cut.
