Help Please: New Coffee Roaster in San Diego area

Hi,

I live in San Diego, CA and I am on the verge of using my life savings to pursue my passion - roasting and serving the best coffee I can get.

Is there anybody in the SD area that can share their experiences with me? My prospective business is not centered around revenue; instead I'm looking for independence and the opportunity to operate on my own terms. Additionally, I want to help independent coffee farmers in developing nations establish sound practices that provide quality, environmental security, and economic freedom.
