I also use the Artisan 6M and really like it. Extremely reliable, no need for an afterburner. Also added thermoprobe to better follow the roasts profiles on Roastmaster app and i am happy with it. This is a full manual roaster and very simple in design, but it's on the cheap side so nice to get started. Also looking for a bigger one for the near future but i will keep it an electric air roaster for many good reasons.

@Almico: Loring now offer a 7kg version....but my bet is that it is more expensive then the USRC 5kg Revelation.

Thanks for the feedback Seb! I have moved on to larger roasters capable of banging out more per hour. I'd rather grow into a roaster than outgrow one.

Oooo! I'll have to investigate. The 5kg Revelation is $46K!

I know and the 15kg Revelation is around $64k but the Loring 15k is near $100k so i am sure their 7kg will be above the Revelation 5kg in term of pricing. That is serious money but i love theses roasters.

Royal NY near me just installed a S15 Falcon. Attended a Colombia Microlot cupping there recently and got to see it up close. It is truly a thing of beauty. I think they said it was between $75 and $80K. I hoping the S7 is under $60. But I think I have to have one either way.
