What have you found the best option is for mail service? I'm mainly using flat rate, but the boxes seem to shrink and the price are crazy high for mailing one bag.

Always thought UPS for big boxes, USPS for small. FedEx fit in anywhere?

I'm also considering getting a bunch of boxes from Uline because my online sales are starting to take off and I feel like I'm getting hosed on shipping....

thanks!

If you want to get hosed, then order boxes from Uline. I found it much cheaper to go onto Amazon for the boxes I need that are not typical size, and use USPS and their free boxes. Look into the Regional box shipping through them too.

Take a look at some of the software tools - shippingeasy.com and a few others. They typically have negotiated rates that may help. I found under 16oz USPS is best, over 1lb REGIONAL RATE boxes from USPS (must order). They will typically hold up to 4 lbs of roasted coffee if packaged super tightly. Anything larger I send FedEx Ground.
