So I have been playing around with the idea of purchasing a new coffee roaster and setting up a small "Roast house" in my area. So I have been checking up on what it takes as far as the state is conerned, and it looks like I have to have some testers come out and take an "Environmental Impact Survey" to see what kind of charges they need to throw my way for permits and what not. Have any of you ever had to deal with that? I don't think I have enough cash for a smoke abatement system/ afterburner. Right now I just import green coffee for people and they keep asking for me to roast for them too, I would like to help them out with it, but I am not a business loan kind of guy, so I would like to stay away from that.
