Hello seasoned and new coffee business owners,

My husband and I are in the beginning stages of trying to open a coffee shop in the government district of our city. The location we want is a leased space that was formerly a coffee shop that we want to restore.

How do I go about estimating the amount of traffic that the shop will be able to attract? It is adjacent to a parking garage for the government employees. There aren't any coffee shops in the immediate area and we're hoping that we can liven the place up in the evenings with cultural events (it's pretty dead at night).

I also wanted to know where I can go to find coffee suppliers and reviews on quality, taste, price, etc.

Basically, any advice on what to know in order to open and be successful.

I look forward to your responses. Thanks so much!
