Depends on where and when....
If you are in hurry and no time for brewing and you are craving for cup of any coffee, instant is the way to go...
But hands down, any method of brewing will be better then the best instant coffee......

Are you very new to drinking coffee? Have you tried brewed coffee as well as instant?

Most people on this Coffee Forum prefer brewed coffee, buy there are many who prefer instant.

The name brand instant coffees that are available today have improved over the years, but they don't come close to the flavor that you get with brewed coffee (especially freshly ground).

It's a matter of taste.....if you add milk and sweetener to your coffee, you'll probably be okay with most ways of preparing your coffee (drip brewed, instant, French Press, etc.)

I think you should experiment and see what you like.
