Hi people,
New to these forums. I'm in the Denver area at about 5800 feet.
I roast at home and have the SR500 roaster, which someone just told me is a "fluid bed" roaster. ( didn't know much about that ) I usually roast just enough for my own use, for a week at a time. I've found that the beans deteriorate in flavor after about a week.
But this SR500 doesn't quite roast enough for a week of my use, sometimes. ( depending on whether I drink coffee out, which I try to avoid, because mine is a "10" and so many of these other places just don't cut it anymore.
But I'm wondering, is there a good roaster like the SR500 that would roast more than 4 ounces for me, for not a whole lot more money?
