first of all, do you have 3 phase at your location? i have used 3 phase 220v on hi hp machinery (not roasters) in the U.S. it is supposedly more economical than 110. don't think you would need a "certification" for that.
pros: more economical
cons: more costly to install (if you don't already have it)

It is for a gas 15kg roaster. I've been told as it is coming out of Europe that the 3 phase isn't certified where as the 1 phase is. The 3 phase would be easier on the motors but seems like most companies in North America go with a 1 phase and don't have too many issues with this.
