Weak coffee when using a drip/filer brewer.

Hi all.

I have been roasting coffee for about 4 months now, and I have a probem with the coffee that my customers grind and brew in a filterbrewer.
When using my coffee in a french press or a expressomachine, the coffee tastes great, however, using a filerbrewer it gets very weak, almost like tea sometimes.
I have ground the coffee from coars to very fine, with no greater difference.
I have noticed that if I let the coffee rest for a couple of days it gets better, Im I on the right track here?

Any tips?!

How much coffee are they using? How much water? You need to make sure to educate them on the proper amount of coffee. My father in law swears he only likes Dark Roast because everything else is too weak. Then I see him make his coffee and he barely puts anything in there. I tell him the proper amount over and over.
