Put coffee roaster on casters??

I have mine on casters. You need total lock casters no wobble or movement. Would also depend on your roaster configuration. Makes life so much easier.

Here's a few pics for reference. It's wider at the base. Are all 4 of your casters swivel or just two?

Maybe you could rig up a platform on casters with legs on a screw mechanism, kind of like beefy floor levelers, which could be raised for use of the casters or lowered to stabilize the platform. I recall seeing this on a once. The legs elevated the trailers wheels off the ground, and the trailer became a exhibit booth. Look at this...

The only con would be your local gas inspector. For safety reasons they might not allow it due to someone bumping into and loosen the exhaust connection. You might also need a valid reason such as moving it to clean the vent. All depends on you location as to whether or not they will allow it
