TOPER TKM x 10 Motor Sound

Hello fellow coffeeraostholics,

I bought a used Toper TKM x15 and have been cleaning and servicing it for a while. But when the time came to test it, there is kind of a rotational, metal on metal sound coming from the cooling fan area?

To make sure, I disconnected the electrical lines to both the drum and the cooling tray motors and confirmed the sound is definitely from the cooling fan.

Please advise what could be the issue? Thank you.

is it a clicking sound? Check the grate on the back of the motor and make sure that you have not bent it. If you have the fan will hit it. That is the best case scenario. Do you have a back up motor in case that one is going?
