Hi all,
We roast on a 1963 Probat L12, recently refurbished. We installed it with a static gas line which is about 8m long in total. We run it off 2 x 48kg LPG bottles and we're getting long roast times if we try to do a "full" batch (12kgs). We've compensated for this by dropping the batch size but the whole system just doesn't retain heat and never really gains too much momentum. I'm pretty sure our problem is the gas installation but I have no idea how to really test this. Does anyone know what gas pressure the L12 should be running off? Does this sound like a familiar problem to anyone?
