Drive thru - not what you'd expect.
It has happened again. My roastery was hit once again from a motorist. I get that it can be confusing remembering that reverse is one down and drive is 3 down. In the defense of the elderly community here...it was not one of them. It was a middle aged person that just got confused with the mechanics of a vehicle. The worst part is it destroyed my toy roaster. I had the Kaldi home roaster for about 6 years. RIP. Luckily no one was harmed. I can not wait for 2020 to be over. I will be installing concrete poles to stop this from happening again.

Bummer... sorry to hear that. Yes - 2020 and COVID can't be over fast enough. Just spoke with a friend that started a restaurant at the same time as my roaster and she is shutting her doors. Ugh... not a good day.

Hi Topher,
Man, you just can't make this stuff up! You've had some crazy experiences over the years, and this has to be at the top of the list.
It's good that no one was harmed, but it's a bummer to hear that your roaster got whacked.
I hope you have lots of better days ahead.

Wish you luck, Topher. Yeah 2020 has been tough. Delivery vehicle got stolen while out on delivery, full of coffee.
