Its getting ready to rain here in So California, and I just returned
from the neighborhood Coffee Store.

People were in there buying Coffee in Droves.
Every person in this store that sells many other things, had a cup of Coffee in hand !

This is the First time I have seen this in such a large group,
at this location, and they were lining up.

Anyone seeing this increase at your locations, or any other ?

We are a mobile operation and have seen that weather plays a huge part in coffee. Even though any drink we do hot we also offer iced or blended year round, people still think "coffee" in colder weather here, not so much rainy as cold. Also a HUGE seller is hot chocolate and we are selling literally gallons of it at some events. Later!

We consider rainy weather as cold, and the customers flock in
for their favorite drink.

But Nice to see you guys doing well, in That Case ( More Snow Please ) so all
of our Friends on Coffee Forums can have a Very Prosperous Season,
And all of us who are customers of each others shops can Enjoy some of your
Finest Brews.

As soon as the weather started changing, I started selling a lot of hot chocolate. Of course, I'm seeing a big increase in hot coffee sales, too.

I've also noticed that there is a significant increase in the amount of decaf (drip) that people are buying. Has anyone else noticed that?

I still Love my Strong Coffee, and its still #1,

But, a Great cup of Chocolate on a Freezing my buns off day,
that also make my hands tingle, is really welcome too.
In Philly, I would line up 2 or 3 times, its cold, its Good, and its the Season.

People are buying more from our friends also,
and the Decaf news is nice to hear elsewhere.

As even my 87 year old Mom, stonch strong Coffee drinker since the fortys,
has now become a Decaf queen.

We might need to pay more attention to that Market place than
I had expected, that would be a good thing for all of us to keep an eye on.
Rick.
