I have been traveling around the world for almost 3 decades for business and pleasure. but this "west lake" in Hangzhou city is the most beautiful lake where I have ever visited. whenever I pass by Shanghai (which is a lot), I always take couple of days to visit this west lake. (about 2 hour train ride).
This lake is #4 most beautiful lake in the world and also "lake Atitlan in Guatemala" where I visit quite often with my customers when coffee harvest time comes is ranked at #12.

PS: below photos are not mine. I also took millions of photos there, but not as beautiful as below internet stock photos. if you have chance to visit China, please visit this lake.

thanks for asking. The trip was GREAT!!! considering the fact that I only paid $499.00 for 10 days trip, including airfair, 5 star hotels, free breakfast buffet, inland transportation and English speaking tour guide..etc.
I just do not know how they do it. with $499, it does not even cover the air fair....

as for pictures? of course, I have gazillion of them, but they are more personal photos, tour sights, me and my wife.
so it would be kind of inappropriate to post them here. and I do not even post them in my facebook because I only use my facebook for green bean exportation business purpose.

as for stories? yes, also a lot, but again, not really related to coffee.

only thing that I got really surprised was that there are so many coffee shops (but they have gift items, teas, bobas..just about anything for tourists) at the resting places for the GREAT WALL. I believe that I posted these photos here. by the way, horrible, horrible coffees... but I really can not expect much from there anyway.

    thanks for asking Joe.

No problem, I still cant believe the price you paid for your trip. My upcoming honeymoon one nights hotel cost more then your whole trip(shaking my head).

Yes, you did post all the great wall coffee shops and such.

I didn't expect you to get good coffee there, YET! With the way the market is evolving I think they will have an influx in good coffee within the next 3-6 years.
