One cup a day will change your brain!!! by 45% less blood flow.

This is kind of scary coffee / caffeine fact (if in fact, this is a real fact).

MRI images taken before and after 1 cup of coffee showed a decrease in blood flow to the brain by 45%. When the blood flow reduction was measured exactly, it was actually 52% less blood flow to the brain, after just one small cup of coffee

below abc news link show the MRI brain scan...

That's insane if anything I would have thought that coffee would've increased blood flow!

I would not take it seriously, even though.... it was from abc News. the article published was from humansarefree.com website that claimed that coffee is way worse for your health than cigarettes.

Yep! that was my exact reaction when I watched the video by abc. Maybe us being alert and sharp by coffee is not about having more blood in our brain? Since I am not even close to being a doctor or anything, I have absolutely no idea. perhaps, I should dig deeper on this....

It goes back and forth. Some research says coffee is good, some says it's bad.
I think overall, moderate amount might be ok.

Am I the only one that instantly realized that caffeine obviously doubles the brain's efficiency and can therefore divert half of its blood flow to areas of the body that need it more? Doesn't everbody feel this energy boost from the first cup in the morning?
