What is your recent coffee experience discovery?

Personally i relized that i don't like pretty dark roasts on my french press. I always thought that the problem was in my technique or the bean but after so many experiments i changed my mind. Other thing i've recently realized is that i don't care to much about more expensive beans in my moka pot. I pretty much enjoy all dark roasts there, even some stale grocery store ones. What are your recent coffee discoveries?

In US, medium roast is pretty much dark roast in other countries. So it's always a good idea to use medium roast in anything that can create a little bit higher temperature/pressure, such as French press or espresso machine.

Since I am part of a group that reviews coffee and coffee shops, I have a new coffee experience nearly every day. My favorite recent coffee experience is Verve coffee, made into a cortado with housemade caramel.
