    My mom and I always have this debate. Personally I can't tell any difference when the water is filtered!

    Personally, I prefer to use filtered water (we use commercial Brita to reduce Chlorine), gladly we don't have any issues with hard water. Distilled water is dead in my opinion, since there's no minerals as WhyCoffee already mentioned, so it affects the taste.
    Also, this photo is a good reminder to maintain your machines properly. Looks like a coffee lover's nightmare
